The meeting between Authorized under the President of the Russian Federation for the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs and business society in Nizhny Novgorod region

A number of questions prepared Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs to this meeting. Business Ombudsman of Russian Federation responded to questions about the cooperation between “Russian Business” organization and the organization “Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs”, the problems of Street Food in the country, in the meeting had been concerned the questions of raiding teams and interaction with law enforcement agencies in the region. Boris Titov underlines that in Nizhny Novgorod 74% of complaints connect with criminal offenses, and the rest ones connect with administrative. This means that the questions of cooperation with law enforcement agencies are the most problematic now.

Particular attention was paid to the issue of bankruptcy, in which the owners withdraw their assets from the company, leaving creditors with nothing. Boris Titov said that, unfortunately, often entrepreneurs themselves initiate criminal proceedings, acting unfairly and improperly in relation to power, to partners, and to the business as a whole.

At the meeting has been raised the role of ombudsmen in regions. Boris Titov said that in the Nizhny Novgorod region has started a public reception, which offers employers with legal advice and assistance.

At the end of the meeting has been signed the Agreement on cooperation of the Chamber of lawyers of the Nizhny Novgorod region, which has been represented by Olga Balakina, and Advisor to the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region on the protection of the rights of entrepreneurs - Pavel Solodky. The signing agreement has been dictated by the goals and objectives of the preparation for a new professional phase of the Nizhny Novgorod Ombudsman.
